Teaching the Art of Ed Parker's Kenpo Karate

In 2007, Mr. Gomez came up with this idea to convert part of his home into a martial arts school teaching Ed Parker’s American Kenpo Karate and since then, he has done just that changing the lives of dozens of kids, teens and adults who joined over the years. The original location was in Monrovia, CA and what was what we called “garage training” because we were literally in a garage converted into a martial arts studio.

However, in Feb of 2012, after years of hardwork, dedication and perseverance, Mr. Gomez fulfilled his dream and was finally able to open his first commercial school in the City of Duarte, CA and is now the new home of MG Kenpo Academy.

If you’re looking to get your child or yourself into a quality martial art program, then we should talk. We're offering quality, fun & energetic classes to everybody of all ages. Don’t pay hundreds and hundreds of dollars each month to a school that only cares about money and not the students. MG Kenpo Academy cares about the success of each and every single one of their students and it shows. We have produced champions and instilled confidence in many students.

Mr. Gomez would like to invite you to come and try a few classes as an introduction at NO charge. This will give you a chance to see what the classes are all about and see whether or not this will be a fit for you and/or your child. If you are satisfied and eager to continue, which honestly mostly EVERYBODY stays, because the art and the classes really do sell themselves, we will offer you ONE FREE MONTH.

We intend on making the Parker Kenpo System continue to be the most well known style of Martial Arts in the world. We have both the authority and ability to promote all who wish to learn the Parker Kenpo System and welcome the sincere and conscientious instructor and student with open arms.
